Harry & Meghan issued grave warning amid King Charles’ bombshell letter

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK has sparked emotions within the Royal Family. On Monday, King Charles shared a letter that put the Duke and Duchess’ possible royal return to rest. And now, a royal expert has issued the Sussexes a grave warning about the future.
While King Charles is said to be thrilled to see his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, more often after his son, Prince Harry, and daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, returned to the UK, another issue has emerged.
The Sussexes left the Royal Family six years ago, and since then, feuds and allegations have been at the center of attention. Harry and Meghan’s many outings about royal life, and its members for that matter, have brought them further away from their UK family. Prince William and his brother haven’t spoken for years, and nothing suggests their relationship will ever be mended.
As Harry and Meghan touched down on UK soil a few weeks ago, some suggested it could be a hint that they are planning a royal return. However, that door seems shut, not least after reports that King Charles and Prince William stand firm in their decision never to let them back into the royal fold.
On Monday, a letter released by the Lord Chamberlain, on behalf of King Charles, put any speculations to rest.
King Charles’ letter about Harry & Meghan
The letter, released to “relevant senior stakeholders across government, the military and Lord Lieutenancies,” read, “Following the decision by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to relocate to the UK, we have received a number of requests for guidance. To help avoid doubt or confusion, The King has directed that the following information be shared.”
“It is well known that in January 2020 the Duke and Duchess stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of The Sovereign, and are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”
It continued, “This position, distinct from the state and royal duties undertaken by the working Royal Family, and with the personal latitude it brings the couple in respect of financial independence and protection of their privacy as they would wish, will continue to be fully respected.”
Moreover, according to the letter, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot use the titles “His Royal Highness” or “Her Royal Highness.” moving forward either.
Prince Harry and Meghan were caught off guard by the letter and, via a spokesperson, said they were “surprised.”
Royal expert issues warning to Harry & Meghan
Meanwhile, another report suggested Prince William was behind the idea of sending out a letter in the first place, making it clear he won’t let his brother back.
Now, a royal expert has warned the Sussexes. Speaking to GB News on behalf of OLBG, Grant Harrold, who worked for the Royal Family between 2007 and 2011, said their response to King Charles’ letter shows nothing has changed.
“This is exactly what happened six years ago, when Harry and Meghan first announced their intention to step back as working royals. It’s the Royal Family putting out one statement, then the Sussexes replying with another and so on. It’s basically repeating itself. They’ve come back into the country and just picked up where they left off;” Grant Harrold said.
He cotninued by saying that King Charles and Prince Harry see the situation differently, which shows there are still things not sorted within the Firm. He suspects there will be “another war of words” moving forward, claiming that the Duke and Duchess won’t back down.
“While relations had begun to improve between the King and his youngest son, this could really be a step backwards. I also think it will add fuel to William’s argument that Harry can’t be trusted, I imagine he will be saying ‘’I told you so.’”
“I think it’s going to get worse”
Grant Harrold continued by saying he doesn’t see the situation getting any closure. Instead, he expects more drama on the road ahead.
“I don’t see how it’s going to be resolved. I think it will cause longer-term damage and put the King in a very hard position. It’s all just a mess, and I think it’s going to get worse,” Harrold said.
